JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Credit and Risk Analyst will be part of eSecLending’ s Market and Credit Risk Management team. The Market & Credit Risk Management team monitors counterparty exposures, business models, and strategies with emerging/existing problem areas exposed by economic/market conditions. The team tracks trend market indicators, including credit default swap (CDS) spreads and equity prices, which enables us to monitor the market-perceived credit risk of counterparties, complementing our fundamental analysis. Exposures to each counterparty are monitored daily.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Analysis

  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis on securities lending and investment counterparties
  • Monitor daily news, data sources and communications on counterparties
  • Update and expand existing financial models used in credit analyses
  • Participate in client, Management, and external presentations

Risk Management

  • Produce and analyze credit and exposure, value-at-risk (VaR) and stress test reports
  • Conduct market risk analysis and monitoring
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis on market events
  • Provide data for various reporting purposes
  • Provide summary reports

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative, oral and written communication skills
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of related work experience
  • Previous experience and/or proficiency in credit and/or fundamental analysis, preferably relating to financial services firms
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred Excel experience includes using formulas such as LOOKUPs and conditionals as well as data organizing, charting and graphing
  • Successful managing and performing on multiple projects
  • Excellent problem solving and collaborative skills
  • Python Programming Language experience is a plus
  • Progress toward a Master’s degree or CFA is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Manager will lead the Portfolio Accounting team responsible for the asset, cash and income accounting and reconciliation process for our cash reinvestment clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Manage the day-to-day operations of Portfolio Accounting team.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance procedures and documentation for the group.
  • Review daily cash and holdings reconciliations with custodians, Bloomberg and MMF vendors. Ensure settlement of daily trades and compliance with procedures and controls.
  • Ensure discrepancies with custodians are identified, researched, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate communication between the trading desk, trade settlement and custodian banks to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
  • Maintain internal files and records associated with the performance of duties in accordance with department and audit standards.
  • Facilitate all audit requests for internal and external parties
  • Interview, hire and coordinate training of new employees
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  •  BS/BA required, Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years related experience in Portfolio Accounting or Mutual Fund Administration.
  • 1-2 years of Team Lead or Management experience.
  •  Fund accounting principles and theories including Short Term Investment instruments.
  • Experience with PAM accounting software is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Detail oriented including strong documentation skills.
  • Focus on process improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position requires that candidates be detail oriented, able to work timely and accurately within deadlines, and possess good problem-solving skills.  Candidates should have excellent communication skills as they will be working with borrowers and custodians in both US and Non-US locations.  Responsibilities of day-to-day operational support include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately processing, monitoring securities transactions in US and Non-US markets.
  • Providing support to trading desk
  • Coordination and tie out of various transactions in support of the operations department.
  • Confirmation and reconciliation of cash and loan positions with borrowers and custodians.
  • Work efficiently in team environment to successfully manage multiple borrower relationships across lending program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA prefferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with 4sight beneficial.
